2004 object model

is it possible in 2004 to use VB/VBA to modify the display order?
I do not want to use sendcommand.

if so, can you please help show me how to do it. I also do not want to install an .arx application
to expose this function. If it requires ARX to work can you please help point out where I should
look to find out how. I am a begginer when it comes to Object ARX but I will go that way if it is my
only option.

i don't have the link handy, but search for the 2004 version of the
Unsupported library. It is an arx file that needs to be loaded into the
AutoCAD session and you make a reference to it in vb/a. It provides
access to the sortents table so you can move above, move to top, move to
bottom, and move behind.
