We share thousands of files to Buzzsaw and encountered a huge issue; when connecting Buzzsaw to A360 all the Xref are not making it. In A360 an Autocad drawing loses all Xrefs. Right now, there is no way to share Vault documentation to cloud or somewhere where could be accessed on smart devices, tablets, etc.
Thin client is a temporary solution but cannot download multiple files at once.
It will be wonderful to have a "Link to A360" in the Vault client as we have now "Share to Buzzsaw", "Update from Buzzsaw" or "Add from Buzzsaw".
Some possible solutions for this idea can be tested based Vault Feedback/Beta forums. If you would like to contribute/validate then please apply for access using this link: https://beta.autodesk.com/oid/login.html?msg=&ref=
We need this feature with Vault 2017! We just migrated from 2015 to 2017 and due to customer requirements we must continue to work with the 2015-2017 vintage CAD applications due to customizations provided by the customers. It wouldn't be as big of a deal if Autodesk would make application plugins across versions. Can you help?
@cbolton We use Vault Pro 2018 and will update to 2019 release just for this feature. One solution would be to update only the ADMS 2019 and keep the CAD apps to 2017; I'm pretty sure it's supported.
Otherwise, I dont think will be implemented for previous releases.
