Prevent renaming of Content Center (CC) files via Vault, because it breaks links with libraries

Hello.

Renaming of Content Center (CC) files via Vault should be prevented, because it breaks links with libraries.

It could also be allowed with proper link repairs, but since CC should only be editted via CC editor, changes in Vault should be prevented, if they impact such links.

We had an example where we renamed the CC part in Vault and it was not found anymore in CC refresh. See the images below.

Thanks for posting the idea. You should protect editing the Content Center file with permissions so that it cannot be renamed.

You are welcome.
They are protected from normal users, but from "Administrator" side, sometimes CC files have data adjusted and it happened in our case, which impacted the filename of the CC part (yes, it could have some unique numbering that does not impact the filename if data is changed).

At least it could display a message that CC part is being renamed and it can cause problems with link in CC library.

Even Administrators should be denied the Modify permission unless they change the state of the CC file on purpose.

This could work, but still, it is really hard to know that, even as Administrator, that "renaming" the CC filename (which is allowed), will cause broken link from CC library. Warning message would still be a good thing.
