I've just watched the "Vault: What's Now, New, and Next" and looks like some good enhancements are coming.
One thing that would be interesting for my organisation would be the ability to attach a step file (with model-based definitions) into the PDF of a drawing during the release process and store within Vault.
At present, we have some manufacturers who work with 2D PDFs of the drawing, and some who work with step files.
This enhancement would save time by covering both possibilities, and also enable some configuration control tracking of the model related to a 2D PDF drawing when sending to a manufacturer.
