In addition to this also the possibilty to open the specific application the dwg was created in, Autocad Vanilla, Autocad Electrical etc. So the Autocad variant the DWG was created in should be saved in Vault.
I'm moving the "workaround from the Technical article to this thread, in an attempt to widen awareness.....
"Currently, there are no configurable options in Vault to specify the AutoCAD profile to use when opening DWGs from the Vault client. The Vault client uses the ACAD profile by default when opening DWGs.
You can, however, configure the AutoCAD profile that Vault opens to use a different customization (CUIx) file. For example, if you are using a vertical of AutoCAD, such as AutoCAD Electrical, you can alter the ACAD profile to use the same CUIx tile as the ELECTRICAL profile. This would result in a consistent user interface when opening DWGs from Windows Explorer, using the Vault add-ins, or using the Vault client.
The option to set the customization (CUIx) file is found in the AutoCAD Options dialog, on the Files tab, under Customization Files."
