Currently in Vault thin client, selecting the tab "Users", the user can only download one file at time.  I suggest adding a feature where you can select all or select specific files to download.  Sometimes we could have 100s of files that are attached.   Louis     Show More

Hello, when we click on a PDF and go to "View", the viewer is not user friendly.    First, the menu bar is over the PDF, hiding some information (like the title block). Would it be possible to either put it on the side, or under the PDF, rather than over it?   Second, would it be possible to have it work the same as any PDF viewer. It would be good to have a workflow to grant “view only access” to certain files/folders without administrator access. It would be good to have an access request and approval via email, similar to SharePoint.   Here is my idea how it could work. "Data Owners" are assigned at the Folder/File level in Vault. "Data Owners" can grant temporary viewing access for Thin Client Viewer (optionally with expiration date). When a person clicks a link to a file in the Vault Thin Client that they do not have access to, or if they do not have a Vault account, they are redirected to an "Access Request Landing Page." The Person can type the reason why he needs viewing access to the specific File or Folder on the "Access Request Landing Page" and submit the request. The Request is sent out to the "Data Owner" via email. The “Data Owner” receives an email with a link to the “Temporary User Management Page” on the thin client. He can decide whether to grant temporary or permanent view access to the requested file or folder or to deny access. After the "Data Owner" submits their decision: A new temporary view user is created if the requester did not previously have a Vault account. The new temporary view user gets viewing access ("Read Only/No Download") to the requested file/folder. (There should be a new user category that can be cleaned up later (not messing up the current user management. The "View Only Users" do not need to be kept in Vault history because they cannot make any changes to the data.) The requester is added with "Read Only/No Download" permission to the file/folder permission if they already had a Vault account.   Show More

Many times we have a pdf open and have to redo an export to pdf because it is open. Can this be defaulted to "View in Window" command on double click or right click open, on pdfs only. It still opens with the same default pdf viewer, but no longer locks it on the local hard drive and can still be written to.  Show More

We are on Vault 2022, so forgive me if this has been addressed in newer versions of Vault, but I would like to see a "Move To Top" and "Move To Bottom" button added for sorting property grid fields. When you have a lot of properties added, and then want to add a new property, it would speed up the amount of clicks to move a property to the front or the end of the property grid. For example if I wanted to temporarily add the "Thumbnail" property (or any other property) but have it so that it's displayed on the left side of the grid, I have to mash "Move Up" a lot of times due to the amount of properties I've added. The other method (which ironically ends up being quicker) is to property you want to add and let it go to the default bottom of the property field list, click "Ok" to exit the dialog box, scroll all the way to the right in the property grid, then drag and drop the property to wherever you want to place it in the property grid. It would be nice though to just move it to the top or bottom while I'm in the dialog box than to scrol then drag and drop.   Again this may have been added as a feature in newer versions of Vault, so I apologize if this is a redundant request at this point.   See below for mock-up....     Show More
