DWG underlay missed at Viewer

User missed the DWG underlays at Vault Viewing and Vault webclient Viewing.

Picture 1: At thumbnail the DWG underlay is visible

Picture 2: At Vault Vewer the DWG underlay is missing at Viewing

Why the difference? The DWF File "lost" / "ignore" the DWG underlay!

At Modell-Browser Button user can't visible the DWG underlay - "That's a shame"

Thank you for posting the idea. If you upload your DWG to viewer.autodesk.com, do you see the underlay?

Yes, we can see the DWG underlay in Viewer.

You published the drawing not the Inventor Model.

Inside of Inventor, export the model out to a DWF file. 

Open the DWF file in ADR.

Is the underlay missing?

I have create a new IAM with DWG Underlay inside.

And It's no difference if you start with a "Standard.IAM" an make AnyCAD insert DWG or you start with a "StandardFactorylayout.IAM" and add the DWG as "DWG_Underlay"

Result at viewer ist the same - Model is empty!

Thanks. This means that this issue needs to be resolved in Inventor.

Open the assembly in Inventor and use the Shared Views command. 

What do you see?

Inventor get a information Dialog that DWG-Underlay not possible at shared View.

From our perspective a gap at the process - and pain for customer!

Users need a possibility to see the DWG underlay in combination with the 3D models at the viewing tools.
