In the manufacturing world most cases we use wider screens that taller taller ones. Therefore we have more empty space on sides of viewer. Would be nice to move toolbar to sides vs on bottom.
One more request is to roll-up toolbar or ability to pin it if roll-up is allowed....being able to dock toolbar on side or move around might take care of this request.
Another request is to be able to have larger buttons on toolbar. We are using from 10" to 70" screens on production floor. Sometimes bigger buttons help the users.
I think this one is already on the table...but need ability to change Model State or View Rep that is shown. Right now, the only one you can view is the one that was active when file was saved. Design Review provided this capability!!! Went backwards on this one.
It would be preferable to have better control to understand if the document has multiple pages and to be able to scroll through them (the current system is completely inefficient). Having the option to print all the sheets would be helpful (currently, it's essentially a screenshot capture and needs to be done sheet by sheet). It would also be beneficial to implement options for comparing versions of sheets and between models.
Need a way to easily toggle off all dimensions, symbols, etc. so that all you see is a model. When we start adding in certain data...we can't turn them off. Production will require this.
Right now, it's multiple toggles and in some cases, we can't turn text off at all. Needs to be fixed if we are ever going to get MBD working.
Thin Client Items tab....Need a way to clean up all of the properties so that is not over-whelming to the average user. Most is just noise and they never look at it. At least give the ability to reorganize so that it makes sense or can match what is in our ERP/MRP system. Administrator would organize / add / remove properties and push out to all users.
