Add 'Review' option to Lifecycle Control tab & Thin Client

This is needed so companies can share files via the Thin Client (using an FQDN) which aren't released, but are out for review with the client.

Currently the only option in the Thin Client is to show released or all file versions and it's a Global administrator setting, rather than a user/groups based option. This limits companies ability to share & hide the files they need to.

well said , I concur on this much needed. thin cleint should not be only viewed for release of files much more of a collaboration if we can share via thin cleint.

I probably need time to consider the implications around making information available while it is not released, as it could result in parts being manufactured prior to release. Perhaps a big red watermark showing the non trleased state (eg Work in Progress, For Review, Obsolete etc).

@aspex717 good point. With this proposal, you would be able to turn off that feature across the board. I would have to check to see if it has been re-implemented, but Item DWF's do have State based Watermarks. However, in the last release they weren't showing up in the Web/Thin Client anymore.

Couldn't you acomplish this by a Lifeycle state and security settings for that state?

@mikel_martin no, not when Released files & Items are checked as well.

You can batch plot the idw to pdf and specify a watermark of the idw's current state.  Not the best, but it works.

With this idea, all need ability for Change Order reviewers to review/approve an ECO from the thin client.
