Error "Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070003"

After last windows update (done in April), the error started popping up when I perform "Copy Design" and create DWF (manually & via Job-server).

I searched around the web & It seems I am the unlucky one who got this error. This error is not happening in all computers. so can't say whats the root cause of this error.

Any Help with this is appreciated.

Does this help - http://crackingthevault.typepad.com/crackingthevault/2010/01/copy-design-exception-from-hresult-0x80... ? If not i would recommend you to log a support case with our support team.

Hi Senthil,

Unfortunately not. I have given this a try before posting the issue.

This error is making our Job-server useless & offcourse we cann't use copy design which is quite useful tool.

Btw, does this have anything to do with latest windows updates?

Appreciate a solution for this.

Sorry to hear that. Can you please check this thread http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/vault-general-discussion/quot-unspecified-error-exception-from-hresult... ? This has lots of suggestions.

Like,

i resolved the issue by disabling the windows UAC, restarted pc and all was resolved

Disabled UAC

Deleting and creating the Project file

If nothing helps then the best way is to log a support case.
