When I check files into Vault Pro 2023 that contain XREFs with the XREF Path Type set to Absolute, then Open the files from Vault, I find the XREF Path Type changed to Relative.

Does anyone know what might cause this behavior?

This is the correct behavior with Vault.

Your working folder may change from C: to 😧 or a colleague's working folder may be different than yours.

By using relative paths, it doesn't matter where the user's working folder is located; it will find the Xref files relative to its location.
