Vault rename using a numbering scheme should generate unique file names

Currently the Vault rename wizard generates duplicate file names when starting from a selection of duplicate files and using a numbering scheme. This results in an error 'This operation will result in one or more duplicate file names' when 'enforce unique file names' is enabled OR results in the same duplicate file names, both results are undesirable.

Why not simply generate truly unique file names when a numbering scheme is applied (especially in combination with 'enforce unique file names) ?

This would also allow to rename duplicate files in bulk...

The rename in this scenario should not work this way. Please log a product support case so that our development team can address it.
