Vault Pro - How to Make Search Show ALL Results?

When we do a basic search in Vault Professional 2024 we see 100 results but there might be many hundreds of results.  In order to show all results (which 99.999999% of the time we need to see), we have to click on MORE once for each 100 files and wait, then click it again.  If there are 1500 files we click that dang MORE button 15 times, waiting in between each click.  How can we just get it to show ALL results when we search rather than 100 at a time?  🙄

Change the paging settings on the server.

Irvin...correct me if I'm wrong...

Keep in mind, the higher the number the more you server has to work and if working on an AVFS or remotely, or if you have a large number of users, it will take longer to get results or will bog your server down.

I can go into a network drive on our server and for example, search for *.PDF and it finds and displays full information for 14,173 files in all different folders in a few seconds, but you're saying if Vault shows us more than 100 items of its search results at a time, it will bog the server down?  🙄

And just for reference, in Vault that would require pressing "More" 142 times.

You are comparing apples to oranges. Information is not stored the same when you perform a search through a relational database.

Hi Guys, so is it safe to say that, in its current state, changing the paging options in the server is the only option, and that anything more would require an enhancement request in the Ideas forum?

Yes, that is the correct statement.

If you perform this search via api, it may take you 30sec to a minute. Displaying all 14k documents in the UI is another story.
