Vault Backup

Hi,

Opened the ADMS yesterday and discovered that it's 61 days since stopped to backup (please see the screenshot).

Also the restore tool is showing: "you cannot restore the increment because ... the library has been modified". The 2 issues coincide in time. I don't remember what I have done, but what's wrong with uploading files to the library, and anyway how can I restore the backup process as it was (I believe every night)?2021-08-17 16_50_06-Window.png2021-08-18 05_38_43-2021-08-17 16_51_46-Window.png ‎- Photos.png

Is there anything in the Console log that is showing the error you are receiving when the automatic back-up is running?

Thank you @JamesMcMullen 

The problem is: I don't know where to find the log folder.

Anyway our Autodesk service had a look and apparently it happened when I changed the Vault admin password. 

We set the backup with the new password and hopefully tonight it will be ok. 

Is there any way to set vault to send a message (email) when there are problems with the backup?

We never look to the Vault server and just assumed everything was fine.

If I recall the log file location depends on where you set the file store.  The easiest way to get to the location is when you are in ADMS Console:

1. Go to the Management folder

2. Select a log file

3. Right Mouse Button on the log file and select "Go To Folder"

 

But, as you said, you really do not need to be going to the log file location.  Unfortunately, we do not have a way to send an email upon failure now.  There is an idea station post already that covers this so please feel free to up vote it.  Here is the link to the post:
