Vault app and domain vault user accounts.

We are currently running a Vault implementation using Domain users. These users do not need to fill in there credentials during login and use their Windows Credentials which autofill. 

We are looking into replacing a paper process on our production floor by a digital process.  We would like to use Vault Mobile App on iOS devices (iPad Air or iPad Pro). The main goal is to have the mechanics on the factory floor use released up to date drawings and models to perform their assembly work. A secondary goal is to allow them to report defects and faults on drawing through ECOs.

I am currently writing up a plan for this implementation part of which is the acquirement of licenses for the new users and the creation of new users within the domain. I would like to have these users login using their windows authentication. 

So far I have been unable to login to our Vault using the Vault mobile app using my Vault Domain user account. I can login with my Administrator account which does not use Windows Authentication. 

My question is: when will Autodesk start supporting Windows Authentication Login credentials for their Vault App?

@frank.gavilar In a future release, we are planning to change the methods of user accounts and authentication methods. This should help with your request on Vault Mobile as it will not be able to support Windows Authentication similar to the way the Vault client does.

Ok, so for now I will be making Vault User Accounts without making them domain users?

You can also synchronize Vault and domain users with CS VaultADSync:
