I accidentally changed something from "Released" to "WIP". I need it back to Released but original (previous) revision. How can I do that?

Many Thanks, Johan

@johannes.bauer

That works from released back to WIP, but not further back, from WIP to previous released.

Yeah, you would need to rollback that version as well. I guess you put both in work. ipt and dwg?

Yes,

1. So both part and dwg were released.

I WIPped the part and dwg.

I realised this was wrong, so I put both back to Released.

Now I Rolled both back to WIP, but cannot go further.

I want to go back to situation in step 1.

Have you tried each separately, the dependent parent first? Rolling back lifecycle state changes can be done all the way to the original first state of the file, as long as you roll linked files in order.

What i understood was,  if we made "work in progress" by accedent, you can "Roll back life cycle state change" and change it back to its previous release state . This option will also work even if the files are checked out (need undo checkout & then roll back). But it wont work if you checkout and accedently checked back in any assosiated files.
