Restore of replicated vault to new test environment

As the Vault backup also includes an SQL server restore, I need to be ABSOLUTELY sure that restoring a replicated Vault to new servers, will NOT disturb the production environment. Will the new SQL server try to reference the old subscriber?

When you perform a restore using the built-in tools, it restores the environment as a "single environment".  It is not set up for replication and you would have to re-enable replication to test that out.  At this point in time, you add whatever subscribers you would like to be using in testing.
