Since the update to Vault Server 2022, the Originator, Modified By and Checked Out By properties are populated by the newly introduced Display Name. This was obviously requested by many users, see https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/vault-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles... but we are all not that happy. If you wish to contact that particular person, you must have access to User and Group Management. Thus, we have to manually change the Display name for hundreds of users. I am really happy for the new Export/Import Updates features.
However, it would be nice with an option to configure the Display Name with some default options and a free text option. By selecting any of the options, the Display Name should be generated from the First Name, Last name and Email Alias. By selecting the Free Text option you could enter any value. The setting should be possible to apply for several users at a time.
