MS Office Add-in removed when uninstalling previous version

Hi,

 

My company recently migrated to Vault 2024 and now that all is validated we started uninstalling the 2022 version.

 

2 out of 3 computers lost MS Office Add-ins so far. Is there a way to avoid it being uninstalled or is it just random?

 

It will be a pain to uninstall/reinstall Vault 2024 for everybody again because of this.

Thanks for the reply Irvin! I came across this one before and the solution proposed is the one I'm trying to avoid (uninstalling/reinstalling Vault Client 2024). 😅

 

As my computer didn't lose the add-ins, I wondered whether the error with MS Office was random or if there were any steps to avoid it. (like leaving the MS Office open for example).
