Hi.

The server was running Vault Professional 2024.3.1 and I installed update 2024.4, the update installed without any errors. But during migration of the Vault I get this error:

What is the best path from here?

Update.
The SQL server is 2016 patch 13.0.6419.1.
From what I can find out from the SQL documentation, STRING_AGG was not supported before SQL 2017 patch 14.x

Would be much appreciated if Autodesk could put in the patch notes that SQL server 2016 is no longer supported.

Hi@Colbjørn
I have answered in the support case and we are having internal discussions already. The quickest way would be to update to SQL 2017 for now from what I can judge so far.

@johannes.bauer what is the solution to roll back from 2024.4? To anything earlier? For users who have updated because this information was not available at the time?

@Richard-D-Henderson, unfortunately, server updates cannot be rolled back, but we are working on fixing them.

As said, upgrading SQL to a higher version should be the best.

@johannes.bauer, It would have been nice if this issue was in the release notes for 2024.4 as a know issue. This needs to be updated as a priority! For what it is worth you can't buy SQL online, only from an authorized reseller who aren't open in the weekend! You also can't upgrade to a trial version. If it wasn't for the knowledge of our resellers Vault support we would haven't been up and running for Monday and we would have had 64 users not able to access Vault!
