Make it clear(er) for thin client users

If you browse through the thin client, as a non cad user, it might be overwhelming the number of folders and files. How do you help non cad users find their way and view their correct file(s)?

If you know the number, great. I was thinking more of putting shortcuts to the main assembly in the rootfolder. Or a home page with current project's main assembly pinned to it. (as the home page in inventor?)

In my Vault none CAD users can only see the released drawings folders which is quite a simple structure.

There is no need for them to view anything else.

This can be done in your security settings in Vault

@Johan_Degreef so you would think of a distributed view/search like in thick client, but for thin client, so the non-cad user can identify their view / search

You can also save searches as browser bookmarks. You could do this on one client and then distribute the bookmark(s).

But an admin can place shortcuts to specific part, assembly or drawing, organized in subfolders.
