Gang...installed Preview App released on 8/25/20 and works on 4 of 5 iPads/iPhones as expected. One iPad will not view files. Uninstalled/Re-installed, rebooted....nothing worked.

Thoughts?

So....did this and can see the file location and file in Explorer tab. But, when we attempt to view it....it says it's "Preparing the Viewer" and then disappears like it's going to display and then RH panel just goes white.

If we hit the upper right icon to share dwf. We can email the file just fine. It's just not displaying the viewable.

BTW...it looks like a white box with a single hole in each end.... that's after I email the dwf via the app.

Best,

Steve H.

Thank you Steve. when the right panel turns white actually is because the viewer start to loading, it may take some time depends on the complexity of the model and the device. for this simple model it should be less than 10 seconds. did you finally see it on the ipad or you see it on another device by receive it via the email? can you share the iPad version here? we will test on same version iPad here to check. thank you!

IT had it blocked somehow. They changed some settings and it's working now.

All on our end.

Thanks for the help!

@steveh3 Can you please share the settings which were blocking the viewing capabilities.

we want on one side publish an article on that so that and second check whether this something we can look at to avoid.

Thanks

Younes

@YounesYammouri

...hope all is well.

I talked to IT and they are telling me that the WIFI that the user was attached to uses a dynamic IP, thus they couldn't really tell what was being blocked.

We switched the iPad to a static IP and all worked as expected.

If you need more info....will attempt to get it for you.
