Error on ADMS, upgrade. "The specified windows username is invalid. Please change it."  What specific windows username is it referring to?  If we canceled the upgrade install, are we able to see this username in the ADMS advanced settings?  I understand we may be able to see these settings in the details of the install but we canceled it.
Would not like to restart the install before we know what its specifically referencing because the beginning of the install seems to clear out any updates on the current version if we have to cancel the install.

Hello

 

Can you double-check that you don't have a Password policy in place for password minimum length? I think the default password is 14 characters for the "AutodeskVault" user which is an impersonation user account which gets created during the installation.

 

So if you have minimum password of 15 then this account will fail. You should lower or remove this requirement and remember that having this local account`s password be reset, or the account being disabled in the future will cause havoc on your Vault server as this is the account that does all the work in the background.

 

Below is an example of where you should find the policy's but mine doesn't have minimum length`s enforced.
