Email Configuration timeout Error

Hello guys,

Have problem while configuring email in Vault 2019.

Do no whats the issue while configuring it says operation has timedout as shown in the image

kindly help me with this

Have you tested that port you are using to make sure it is open?  That could cause a time out error, because the server is trying to send the email, and it cannot get through.

 

Another thing to check, are you using Windows Domain credentials for your Vault logins?  If so, you may not need to use the SMTP Authentication  in the Email setup dialog.

Looks like you are using port 465 which may be a secure port. At this time Vault doesn't connect with secure ports.

After Checking with my server settings in my mail I tried this it says SMTP AUTH is required i have checked in i have given my username and password correctly but still got the error what should i do now?

Hi @Boopathi_Sivakumar

 

The error message being displayed in the ADMS Console, is being handed to it, from the email Server itself. Its not Vault that is erroring.

 

If you look at the error message "61145 is in an RBL". I do not know what software is being used for the email server, but I suspect that RBL, stands for Real-Time Blacklist. 

 

So work with the email servers Administrator to resolve that specific error message.
