ECO Approved Date to Drawings
I think I know the answer to this, but I'll ask it anyway.
I would like to be able to put the date that an ECO is approved, as well as the Engineer's name who approved it, onto a drawing's titleblock without having to re-open the drawings. We are trying to avoid a situation where, once an ECO is approved, the CAD guy has to re-open the drawing and modify the approval dates on the Status tab of the iproperties.
It looks like I am going to have to use UDP's mapped to these columns and have them filled in ahead of time... problem is, you don't know ahead of time the date that the thing will be approved!
Anyone have any thoughts? How are you all doing this, aside from just opening the drawing back up and filling it all in manually?
