DWF vs. DWFX extensions

I have Vault Publish options set up to publish DWFX options but I still see DWF files being created. What am I missing? Is this not where the extension is controlled?

Yes, this is the correct location for the setting.

When is the DWF file still being created?

Is it during file Check-in?

Has the user logged out and back into Vault after this setting was made?

After logging out of Vault and back in, the IAM and the IPT files get published as a DWF and the DWG gets published as a DWFX.

 

All of the applications in the visualization publish options are set up to a DWFX file type.
