Distributed Search Check-Out By User

Hi, i'm trying to create a distributed search on vault to each user access their respective check-out files.

There is a way to implement that?

Like a "Check-out by" = "client-username"

Very important indeed, but unfortunately the best workaround now might be to save it as a parameterized search (prompting the user for value when triggered), I guess:

I am the admin of the vault in my company, I want to create this search and share it as a distributed search to each user and see its respective checked out files.

There's no way to add a variable parameter inside of a search. Either you have to make several saved searches for each username or create a custom add-in to do this. I am working on something for our add-in to the Vault to do this very thing.

What is the difference between My Searches and Distributed Searches in Vault?
When I save a search in the Find dialog it appears under My Searches. As seen in the image "Checked Out By ......"

How do I remove, modify or add folders under Distributed Searches?

Distributed Searches can be maintained by Vault users with enough permissions (as these are distributed globally to all users):

If you don't see options to make/manage Distributed Searches, I guess you are not admin (so you do not have control over distributed searches).  You can maintain then only "My Searches" which are visible just for you, not for all users.

After I right click and press "Manage Saved Searches" I get this window. There is no option for me to create/make/manage any searches right?

So I guess, as you mentioned, I do not have admin rights.

That looks like the case - using my test admin account I can turn on/off Distributed option for my searches:

And for you that option is greyed out.

You must contact your Vault admin then if you want to make some changes in Distributed Searches.
