Copy Design path invalid

Hey guys.

I'm setting up Vault for our company for the first time, and one of the big features we want from it is for copy design to work correctly and easily.

What I'm getting is this.  

I'm assuming my project set up is flawed.

@Anonymous It looks like the Copy Design To and Copy Design From fields have an extra $ character. Somehow the "working folder" directory has an extra $ added in.

There are a few things you can try to get around that:

• Manually edit the Copy Design To and Copy Design From fields to remove the second $ or browse to a different location using the ellipses (...). You may get a message saying that is not allowed an that you must specify a folder that starts with $/XYZ. 
• Try remapping your Vault folders from Inventor (Map Vault Folder in Autodesk Inventor) to a new folder in Vault. 
• Create a new Inventor project file.

It works now I switched to a single user project.

@Anonymous If you switch to a single-user project type, then you will not be able to use Vault as a data management system. You won't be able to check files in and out, for example.

I feel like there is something not quite right with either your project file or with your workspace settings. Would you be willing to get on a call with me off the forum to look into your settings and configuration in more detail together this week?

@Anonymous and I looked into this issue off the forums together. We found that the working folder being used had an extra special character, a '$', which was interfering with Copy Design. We removed the $ from the working folder and associated the project file with the working folder again. Once that was done, we were able to use Copy Design as expected.
