We have a problem in cooperative work in Vault with Civil 3D Data.

Please help us, because we have big Infrastructure Project, where Vault and Civil 3D interaction inhibited all design process.
Question is very urgent.

You may need to do nested folders or in the case of Civil 3D they are nested projects.

 

Create one overall project for the whole team. Shared civil 3D data goes there in a source folder. Then create sub-projects or folders for each of your teams to keep their work. Your sub-projects will be able to use the source civil 3D data in the overall project, but not in side by side projects that they don't have access to.

 

You could also add in a Lifecycle for this project that includes approval before others outside of the generating team can see those sheets. Also you can limit permissions for specific files to read-only for certain user groups if needed.
