Experiencing this problem globally across the entire vault.    Getting this error while attempting to checkout any assembly.  These files are in the vault and current, I can open them but cannot checkout.

@smooreY7LDX

I recommend you start with one issue at a time. Find out why you cannot check out the latest versions of the files. Are they already checked out? Have you checked the server logs to see what they show?

Thanks Irvin.  Yes I verified files are available for checkout, user permissions are sufficient, vault connection is good.  But the plot thickens...... I am finding some useful posts searching this topic.

That looks like you have a major problem. I recommend that you create a support ticket so this can be investigated.

Have you checked the database size? Are you on SQL Express and have reached the 10 GB limit?

Issue is SQL storage limit. Purging and shrinking should fix issue.

After shrinking databases and purging via the SSMS and ADMS Console as suggested above AND seeing those databases and Vault shrink by 40% I saw no change in behavior and now 4 days into this issue we stll cant checkin or checkout our work?!?

I also purchased and installed the suggested upgrade due to the 10 GB known limit hoping that would resolve the issue, upgraded from Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Development to Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Standard, and see no change in our ability to checkin / checkout?!?

Next path will be to switch to SolidWorks...I've been supporting both CAD Packages for 20 years and cant tell you how many times I've spent weekends and late night trying to solve AutoDesk based issues that shut down our Engineering department.
