Can you share screenshots of your Vault folder structure?

I realize this is probably a shot in the dark, but is it possible, masking out file names, to ya'll to share some screenshots of how your Vaults are set up, mainly for how your fabrication files are organized, and how you tackled folders and sub folders for Purchased Parts and none CAD documents.

Hiding files in Vault Professional is done via permissions. if you are using Vault Basic, you will not be able to do this.

This is the general structure we use. I left out some stuff but this covers most of what we design and purchase.

Project Explorer ($)
   Content Center Files

   Design Data
   Designs

      Jobs

         Customer Name

            Project Number

               Assemblies (assemblies and sub-assemblies)

               AutoCAD

Parts (All machined and fabricated parts including weldments)

Purchased (custom or modified job specific purchased items)

                  Vendor Name

Purchased Parts (standard reused purchased items

         Vendor

I asked the same question (more or less) a few days ago, but so far no answers (perhaps TLDR(?)):
https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/vault-forum/folder-structure-for-inventor-with-a-few-custom-libraries...

There's a picture with my idea of a structure, but I'm also curious about the libraries for CC, materials and appearances.

Purchased Parts should be in the Libraries, as you're not supposed to modify them. If you do, make a copy and save it in your working folder.
What kind on non-CAD documents are you using?

I think you missed the point in the question.
He's asking for a screendump of your structure. You can mask the sensitive file and foldes names if you like (or don't like to share them).

We have it like this:

I found that it usually boils down to your mode of working:

Are you driven by customer projects/orders? Then the structure @pball described would be fine.

Or do you have a range of (more or less) fixed products? Then built a structure according to those.

Of course there are always mixes possible. You might build a separate folder for purchase parts, for instance.
