Autoloader Error

I have attached a picture of an error I get when I try to run Autoloader. I have tried about seven times and Autoloader crashes. This is the most frequent error I have gotten, but once I received a little circled red X that said server error (one of the files it was trying to upload) and once it just went away, it didn't even say bye. This is become a very frustrating piece of software as it loads 1400 of my 1857 files in this project. So then when I have to manually place (using Vault Explorer) a file into the Vault, I try to open it in Inventor and it has to resolve every part link because it won't look in the Vault, it trys to look at my local mapped workspace. This is not fun because I have to open every part and check it into my workspace before I open the assembly. Luckily my assemblies so far have been about sixteen parts. I think I want to take my money out of the Vault and put it underneath my mattress.

Hi Seth,
Aside from the error you get, there is a way to manually repair the
assemblies you mention. The files that you've manually placed in the Vault
need to be resolved to the assemblies, and those assemblies will look to the
local workspace for the children. In Vault Explorer, right click and Get
Entire Folder. You'll get a message about Getting the Entire Vault, click
OK. Verify the location it is retrieving to is correct and click OK again.
These assemblies should now resolve to the manually placed Vault files, and
can be checked back in. This should get you going. The Task Scheduler can
also be used here (use migrations mode) to automate this.

Brian, thanks for the response. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. My question is am I to "Get Entire Folder" and place that folder into my local workspace? This would put 1400+ files into my local folder which is mapped to the folder in Vault where all of the files I am trying to retrieve are.

Hello,
Yes, this would 'get' the entire Vault to your local workspace. It seems
like a great deal of files, but the retrieval process is pretty quick - just
make sure you have the disk space. These files would need to be there for
the file resolution. You can use the Task Scheduler to automate this
process.

Brian, again thanks for the help. I just have one question (forgive me for my ignorance) but once I have those files in my local workspace how do I get them back out of there, do I have to check them all back in? The assembly I am trying to save has about 25 parts, so there will be a lot of extra stuff in there. Thanks again,

Hi Seth,
Once you have the assembly file(s) 'healed', you can use the Task Scheduler
to batch check these in. Once all the files are checked back into Vault, you
can manually delete the files in the Workspace. These will be read only by
the way. This should get you back on track.

Brian, as far as the image of the error I attached (see above), do you have any idea what that could mean? Does that mean I ran out of memory or is one of the files corrupt? I still have three hundred plus files that aren't in the Vault from my main folder and it takes forever to add them manually using the Vault Explorer, I can only do a few at a time or otherwise it just crashes. Your technique for repairing the associations does work well though!! Thanks,
