I have recently installed Vault Server 2017 on my server running Windows 2012 R2 Essentials.

When i open the ADMS console and navigate to 'Administration' i get an error message popup that reads as follows:

 

'Autodesk Data Management Console 2017 could not find the Data Management Services on 127.0.0.1.'

 

When i go into IE and navigate to the address 'http://127.0.0.1/' i get a security certificate warning, i expect that this might have something to do with the problem.

 

I've tried searching for this issue but haven't found anything that directly relates specifically to my error.

 

Any hints or tips to resolve my issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hi There,

 

This looks more of a problem with IIS, as an initial step can you try restarting your IIS services pls? follow the below steps on the ADMS machine -

 

Steps to Restart IIS :

 

Click Windows Start > Run.

 

In the command window, enter: iisreset

Hi Bharath, thanks for the reply.

I have restarted my IIS services with using the method you noted with no rectification to the issue.

To close loop on this, over a remote session we noticed Vault being installed on a web site with multiple services running on it, as the port used was in conflict, we installed Vault on a named web site over port 8080, article below highlights the steps to do so -

 

Install Vault on custom website and custom port ( Part 4 point 7)
