DataStandard 2021 - NumScheme

Hallo everyone, 

after a long time I try to optimize my DataStandard. 

First I install the QuickStart 2021 from Markus. 

It work good and looks good. 

But today I see that I can't use my Numscheme. 

It's gray out. I have only one NumScheme. 

I can see the combobox but all is gray out. 

The NumScheme didn't have a name like a catagory. 

I remember very dark that there is a function about NumSchemes are using catagorys. 

But I'm not sure. 

Please, can someone tell my what I must change in the ADSK.default.ps1 to use the NumScheme. 

I know it is a very beginner question and I'm sure I find it out by myself. The Problem is that I have tomorrow a customer demo and I want use the quickstart Data Standard

In the non quickstart data standard the numscheme works.

Hi Joerg,

It would be best to edit the GetNumSchms function—the Quickstart filters on the "default" scheme only.

Hi Markus, 

nice to hear from you and thanks for your answer. 

My NumScheme that I want use is marked as default. 

When I create a new file I can see the NumSceem, but it is gray out. My NumSceens has to list. But I can't choice simething from the list. 

For my presentation tomorrow I use the normal DataStandard because I have not so much time to solve the situation. But after the presentation I will find out what the problem is. 

By the way, the item tab is great. It works in 2021.

Joerg, this was on short notice. Quickstart ("the name is strategy") recommends using a single sequential numbering scheme (site label for replicated environments, or centralized scheme). Therefore the pulldown for NumSchms is disabled as a default. However, there are some workflows, that add the "None" scheme like Save Copy As in Inventor. Compare the search result indicating the location and context of enabling and disabling it.

Thanks for a reply.
I have now again enough time and peace to look for it.
Please excuse me for asking such a simple question. I knew all this before, but unfortunately I haven't been up to the DataStandard in the last years. But I want to do more with it again.

By the way, my presentation was good and the customer liked the number generator
