To contextualize my question, let me summarize my situation :
We have a Vault professional server with multiple Vault professional clients (our mechanical engineering team). Through all the 3D files (.ipt and .iam mostly), they eventually generate DXF files for our punching machines.
I have coded a small application with the Vault API to search for a batch files (DXF and PDF mostly) and download them, but since it's using the Vault API, it require the client to be installed and have a license (something I wouldn't need with the Thin client).
So here is my question : Would it be possible to download any files from our Vault with an Vault Office license, but on a Vault professional server?
I have seen in the list of "Tasks Users Can Perform with the Vault Office client" that you can only "Get/download non-CAD files", but that is accessible license free with the thin client since we have Vault professional server. To be clear, I haven't bought a Vault office license and tested it out. I'm trying to have a confirmation before going forward since it might imply multiple licenses.
