Skip DWG for Factotry Layouts

Is there a way to customize VDS to skip some DWG files, like for Inventor "SkipForProperties" ?

(easier way than "disable VDS")

2017 Vault Help tell it's for Inventor Only :

With Factory utility, DWG has to have the same name as Inventor assy. If I get VDS Interface, I will make a mistake, and a mess in my Vault...

We are currently working on a VDS configuration to support the FDU and its workflows. There are several scenarios, where we either need to suppress the VDS activity or to autofill required information.

BTW, the DWG during synchronization are created by Inventor, so having properties in the templates, you can skip - in theory. We have workflows, where the order jeopardizes the given rules. My strategy/proposal solving these scenarios is not to suppress the dialogs, but to fill these with all provided information during initialization and "auto" close these instead of popping up to the user. With that, we can enrich the FDS created files by metadata, but leave file names and locations as required by FDU.
