No BOM when assing all Part from Assembly with existing Items

Hi,

with the api i assing all Parts from an Assembly with existing Items and use the PromoteFiles and '' Funktion. After that, when i look at the Item from the main Assembly there is no BOM Strukture to see. Even i Call the Refresh Command from the Item-Contex Menu the BOM is updated.

How can i build this Funktion with the API, can every one give me an small sample or tipp?

Let me make sure I understand:

You have a custom command that calls PromoteFiles, but the Item shows no BOM structure.

After you run the Refresh command, do you see the correct BOM?

Hi,

sorry forgot the second Funktion. After PromoteFile i call the ReassignComponentsToDifferentItems to change the default Items. In this case the BOM will not show. How can i rebuild the BOM with the new Items?
