inventor part apperance property mapping

Anyone know of hot to map Apperance Property from Inventor part file. We are using a custom apperance library for part finishes, and would like to map to file and item properies in the vault.

I was able to map the apperance property from my part to my titleblock in .IDW but cannot seem to locate property anywhere for Vault mapping.

Mario,

Use iLogic, and event triggers (such as before save) to push the data into a custom iProperty.  Then map the custom iProperty to vault properties.

OR, make a bunch of Materials, that each use your appearance as part of a compound name, those are already mapped. 

Vault likes to map to anything that is in the iProperties even custom items, because they are accessible 'outside' of a file.
