Access Vault from Java

Hi,

We are currently migrating our documents from SharePoint to Vault.

We have a java based web application which we use to upload and update metadata to the documents using SharePoint web service.

Could you please share some thoughts on how this could be acheived by using Vault web services from JAVA? All the examples are based on .Net and finding no resource to proceed further.
