Improve error message in plugin

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object." error shows up when an attempt is made to open an electro mechanical item without CAD data. 

This request is to make the error message more clear and simple like "No CAD attached to this XXXXXXX.XX.XX.XXX item".

Also not sure why the right click > open button is active for an item without CAD.

I have attempted to reproduce the behaviour you mentioned in this post with some guesswork.

Here is what I have done;

1. Create an electro mechanical item without CAD data in the Web App
2. Release that electro mechanical item
3. Open the released electro mechanical item in the CAD Plugin

However I did not yield the results that you mentioned in the post. Could you provide the steps /or a short clip to obtain this behavior?
