If a designer imports an electrical package (xml), if the Manufacturer and Mfr Part Number already exists in the system on an Item, it uses that Item in the BoM.
The problem is that if the Item is in Development Status, it updates the Item Name (and other attributes) to match the import, but it does not leave a record in the Item history that it made the change.
Item History should capture all changes to an item so there's a audit trail of who and when something on an item was changed.
