Please add the time stamp beside date & user column within the history tab. It is unnecessary for user to click on the icon to expand history window just to see time.

the Export to Excel report in the eBOM follow 'Effective Date' filter rules. the filter Currently doesn't follow the eBOM filter selected. this causes errors and misinformation on Project that have are set to "Effective Date" All filter in the eBOM must follow the filter rules set on selection. Use case. if a user is searching for example items that have a specific shapes or Material. both values are picklist values. the user must add for each material they want to search a search criteria. this is not user friendly or practical. Solution. allow multi-Selection of the dropdown list /picklist. the user would then check all values of an attribute that are relevant for the search in one field.

Customer, manufacturer, project or department names are controlled via a table. When searching in the advanced search, the user should not enter or guess the name, but should be offered it via a selection list. This should be the same behavior as with other picklists such as material or form. The values in the selection list should be multi-selectable so that no further criteria need to be added if a user searches for more than one of the above values for an attribute.

Use Case. - Different Divisions and Users have different needs on the Advanced Search. when Admins or Users create a complex Advance Search Query they have the option either to save private or expose to the complete Organisation in Upchain. this results in either having only Private Search Queries that every new user has to setup by themselves or the complete Organisation is overwhelmed by a large number of search Queries offered in the saved searches. this renders the saved search as unpractical and complex. the Solution. - Allow Admins or Elevated Users to Create Search Queries and expose these to only a division and or Teams of Users. - the exposure should be based on Division and or Project and or Team and or Division Team.

Use case. The search in the advanced search provides a large number of results and a large table with information. The display settings and the order of the information in the table are fixed. Most of the time, users are interested in information that is on the far right of the table and/or not conveniently arranged. The user spends time rearranging the fields so that they can read the results. Restarting the search or the next search will clear this order of the fields in the grid. Solution. The results grid should be configurable by the user. The user must be able to save the configuration under a specific name and the user can set a saved configuration as the default for their advanced search.

Similar to the eBOM Views, the Results of the Advanced and Quick search should be customizable. the User should be able to customize the search result columns and save for later use. this increases the readability of search results and makes them more user friendly.

Use Case: A user may inadvertently assign a value to an attribute (which is custom linked to a picklist) for an incorrect item. In such cases, the user needs the flexibility to remove the value from the attribute for that specific item. Rationale: The ability to assign an empty or null value to an attribute, including those driven by picklists, is crucial. This gap in functionality was unintentionally revealed during an API call test. Nevertheless, the necessity for this feature is substantial for effective data management within the system. This feature should be made available through both the user interface and API calls.

In On prem Upchain reference only items in BOM gets greyed out for users to easily identify and skip while requisitioning. Please add this feature to the cloud based Upchain as well.

It would be nice to be able to export to an excel file the Compare revisions comparison that can be seen through the Upchain CR screen. This way we would have a very visual summary report of the changes of the CR that we can include and share with all the team easily or through email See screenshot of what we would like to export.

Idea. Tenant admins should be able to add Custom attributes to Projects. the logic should follow the same behaviour as Item attributes or Document attributes. the Custom attributes must be. Editable by the tenant Admins. Searchable have different Data Typs. can be Project type specific or general for all projects. the connection to Project type must except multiple values. can be used in workflows as control primitives. are exposed to the API. values can be controlled by a Picklist. Use Case. better handling of different Projects. more search criteria leading to better results. better control of Projects through Workflow primitives

add the ERP Number to the result Grid of the search when searching for Items versions in the advanced Search. Use Case Currently if we search for example for all items that have a Manufacturer Item Description containing a value. the result Grid does not contain ERP Number as a result. this cant be added as an available Field. the result Grid and the available Fields should be more flexible and admin should be able to add fields to the result Grid.

Viewers can be confused about revisions and cannot sort REV.A from REV.B An option to display only the latest revision would therefore be welcome. Such an option exists on the Vault Thin Client Thanks

CAD user would like to set everything up in the CAD Plugin. it would be very helpful to add the possibility to set the revision Type "MINOR / MAJOR" decision in the CAD plugin. this is already exposed in the item view in the WebApp. so it should be a small thing to expose it in the CAD Plugin.

If a user enters a search criteria where there are more than 1000 results, it gives an error message to refine the search. In the quick search it returns the top 1000 results (even with the exact same search criteria). Desire is for the Advanced search to also return the top 1000 results, and have a visual indicator to the user that it is the top 1000 (not the entire result).

Automatically populate revision letter for drawing. Engineers are manually updating the revision on the template. Open an idea ticket to make the translation at the PDF level, instead of using the DWG solution.

Enhance the Where Used CN tab and the Business Process CN Tabs with the Project Number. the Business case. User wants to search an exiting Items Change Notices. Opening the Business Process or where Used can result in a very Large number of CNs. if they want to search the Projects where this part was requisitioned they have to open each and ever CN individually. add the Project Number to which the CN belongs helps the user extremely. this Information is available in the System and needs to be presented in a column beside the CN number. screenshots of the a possible suggestion.

When item is sent to CR/CN from webapp it creates CR/CN in the same tab and user looses expanded BOM view in webapp. For large projects this is difficult and time consuming to open the child location again. Please let CR/CN start in new tab so existing tab expanded BOM view will remain as is for user to continue to work.

the Excel addin has a very limited Usability currently. allowing the user only to create items and BOMs with items in Development status. the following would create a great benefit for the users. The Excel addin should identify existing Items in Upchain if the users adds the item number in the correct mapped column. “this is already the case” The Excel addin should should distinguish between existing Items, “ where the user adds an item number in the column” and non-existing/new items. “ where the user added Item-Name., item-type etc.” only new items should be created by the part. Existing item properties should adhere to the item Status. Released Items will not be changed but only the BOM Position, Structure Quantity and BOM relevant properties should be modified and added. Items in Development could be changed if the value differs from the DB. Non-Existing Parts should be created and added to the BOM, as the function does now. this functionality would enable users to create BOM structures by pulling data from Upchain.
