Bulk Export to accommodate custom document type exports

Due to our company working in the sheet-metal industry, we require not only the pdf translation of the part drawing we also need a flat pattern dxf file. As Upchain does not create this currently as a translation option, we manually create the flat pattern dxf file and add it to a custom document category we have created so it stays connected with the part in question.

When working on individual items this is no problem as we can easily get the pdf and dxf downloaded ready to send to the factory.

But when we have a full top level assembly, with 300+ parts we need the option to quickly bulk export all the drawing pdf files and the flat pattern dxf files, so we can package these up and send straight to the machinists for processing.

thank you for your request. Please let me know if you tried to use bulk export in combination with document category selection? When using bulk export, currently there is a way to export custom document categories from multiple items, as long as they are gathered under one parent assembly. You can specify a specific document category or simply choose all categories as in example screenshot below.

Please let me know if this helps and if your use case is any way diffent which prevents you from using this feature.
