Maya 2025 does not open on Mac OS Sonoma

As the title suggests, I have installed Maya 2025 on my M1 silicon Mac running Sonoma 14.5.

After double clicking the app, the Maya app icon bounces in the dock as if it is about to open, does this for maybe 10 seconds, then just quits.  I cannot open the app at all.

Is there previous versions of Maya available for the trial?

Thanks

An older version may do just the same since your system appears to be very compatible with Maya 2025 system requirements: you may have something else going on that needs to be addressed first. Read through this list from Autodesk on the topic

Hi @zlapzap_clothing,

Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Building on what @pendean has already suggested (Thank you, Pendean), are you running any Adobe software? Recently, I did something similar post on an issue caused by a conflict with an Adobe product, so if nothing in the article that Pendean suggested works, this may be the next avenue to explore.
