Wrong landing page following email link

Why is it that when I follow my email notification on a topic I'm following I end up on the "Welcome to the Autodesk Forums", rather than the discussion I am notified about?  I can close this window and click the link a second time, and it goes to the correct discussion topic.  Very frustrating to have to do this.

 

Using Chrome (Version 98.0.4758.102 (Official Build) (64-bit)).

Still having the issue.  I attached a screencast of how the page jumps to the forum index after I click the link.

 

How do I stop it from jumping to this index page?
