TinkerCad Help - my model become one "unit" instead of separate pieces - can't edit it.

Need assistance: I just started using Tinkercad (I'm an experienced OpenSCAD user and wanted to try something more freeform). I created a design consisting of 5 parts (boxes, holes and text - 5 things I could click on and set properties). I exported it as an STL, sliced in PrusaSlicer and it printed fine. Now I want to adjust one of the 5 parts but when I bring it up, it is one unit. The Ungroup icon is grey'd out. Besides, I never grouped the pieces in the first place. Why is this now one unit instead of 5 adjustable parts, and how can I get it back so I can adjust one of the parts? Thanks.
