Sketchbook Pro

Sketchbook Pro.

I have seen that Sketchbook Pro is not offered by Autodesk anymore. Why not? I had to find it on their website which asks for a payment for downloading the program. I was going to use this with a Wacom pen display for learning. What other free student software is there available which is similar or better then Sketchbook Pro and which is offered by a reputable dealer? I appreciate your reply.
