Sign in code timeout

Recently my Forum signed in status failed.

For the second time, 2 devices.

The system when signing in, requests or generates a code number. 

Starts a 10-minute count down timer.

Announces the code can be obtained from my registered email.

The code number arrives after the 10 minute timer expired.  After 3 attempts, gets old.

Please assist....

The only thing I can suggest it to set up 2FA That will ping an app on your phone for verification.
