How does everyone go about organizing their detail libraries? We work in both CAD and Revit so this can be a bit of a hassle; we are a small-medium sized firm that does not have a dedicated overhead staff for tasks like this.
We are currently printing the libraries to PDF, but we would like to see functionality where our library can be searched and relevant details can be reviewed side-by-side by the engineers and then exported into a Bluebeam PDF for markup, and comments can be added directly to the library.
We did find an online solution (Pirros) but it is expensive with a yearly fee and does not handle bulk CAD files, each detail has to be uploaded individually.
I'd love to hear any ideas and find out what other firms have been doing. If there is a more appropriate forum for this discussion please let me know.
