BOOKS On DYNAMO

Hello to the Autodesk Community!

Can someone recommend any books that breaks down the fundamentals of DYNAMO?

I need something that explains the functions in a step-by-step format.

Thank you!

Hi @studentatc08 , I'm not a book guy but -> Dynamo and Grasshopper for Revit: A Comparative Guide by William Spier or the eaier option to find stuff is below:

For online resources on Dynamo, here are some great options:

  1. Dynamo Primer (https://primer.dynamobim.org/) – An official, free online guide that's perfect for beginners, offering step-by-step lessons on basic and advanced Dynamo concepts.

  2. Lynda.com (LinkedIn Learning) offers various Dynamo courses for all skill levels, featuring clear instructions and practical examples. Search for courses by authors like Shaun Bryant or Revit experts.

  3. YouTube Channels:

    • The Revit Kid—has tutorials specifically for Dynamo and Revit, ideal for visual learners.
    • Dynamo BIM – The official Dynamo YouTube channel, where you can find video tutorials on the fundamentals and more complex uses.
  4. Dynamo Forum (https://forum.dynamobim.com/) – While not strictly a tutorial site, the forum is full of community-driven discussions, tips, and tricks that can help clarify any questions you may have.

kind Regards

Ricky

Hello <safwan_ricky, Thank you for the Book request, I check into that book. The reason I can't check the online sources, is because I'm limited to internet access, due to my current location. But I truly appreciate your efforts.
